Dan Mallon
Dan Mallon founded CLA Capital Partners as a multifamily investment and operating platform focused on long-term value creation through institutional experience, operational discipline, and investment perspective. He brings more than 25 years of experience across capital markets, multifamily investments, acquisitions, operating platforms, and portfolio growth.
Most recently, Dan served as President and Partner of Lauth Communities (2024–2026), culminating a 12+ year tenure with the firm across roles including COO, EVP, SVP, and VP. During his time at Lauth, he helped scale the company from inception into a vertically integrated multifamily investment and operating platform spanning Indiana, Kentucky, and Northwest Arkansas, contributing to the acquisition, management, and development, of more than 3,200 apartment units representing approximately $650 million in portfolio value.
He led platform-wide initiatives across investment strategy, operations, team leadership, and organizational growth.
Earlier in his career, Dan held capital markets roles with CBRE and Grandbridge Real Estate Capital (formerly Laureate Capital). His experience spans acquisitions, capital structuring, portfolio strategy, and multifamily operating platform development across privately held and institutional-quality multifamily investments.
Dan holds a Management and Marketing degree from Southern Illinois University Carbondale where he also competed in Division I cross country and track.
